What is En las Tablas?

En las Tablas is the first Costa Rican digital magazine dedicated to dance and topics of interest to dancers and movement lovers. In addition, it works as a free platform for advertisement, promotion and training in different areas related to dance.

How was En las Tablas born?

En las Tablas was born in December 2015 through a blog, as a personal project of founder, Carolina Burgos, who sought to create a space to talk about dance. In 2017 the project was transformed into a website, with spaces for interviews, columns with different writers, an agenda of events and news. Given the lack of written content on dance issues in Costa Rica, in 2019, En las Tablas became the first digital dance magazine in the country.
